1. Terminology
To keep the rest of these Terms readable, the following words carry the specific meanings set out below whenever they appear with a capital letter:
- Player (or "you") — any natural person aged 19 or older (18 in AB/MB/QC) who registers or holds a Spin247 Account.
- Operator (or "we", "our", "us", "Spin247") — Spin247 CA Casino, the offshore-licensed entity running spin247-ca.net.
- Spin247 Account — the personal account you open with us to deposit, wager and withdraw. One per Player, per household, per shared IP.
- Wallet — the C$-denominated balance attached to your Spin247 Account, split into "real balance" and "bonus balance".
- KYC — Know Your Customer identity verification, which we complete before your first withdrawal (never the SIN — provincial photo ID and proof of address only).
- Bonus — any promotional credit, free spins, cashback or tournament prize we award you subject to specific conditions.
- Wagering — the play-through requirement attached to a Bonus, expressed as a multiplier of the bonus amount (for our welcome package: 35x).
- Rollover — a synonym for wagering used in some parts of the Site; the required turnover before bonus winnings unlock to your real balance.
- FINTRAC — the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada, to which we file large-transaction reports (C$10,000+).
2. Who may play
You may only register and play if, at the moment of sign-up, you meet every criterion listed here:
- You are at least 19 years old. In Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec the age of majority for gambling is 18, and we accept players from those provinces from their 18th birthday.
- You are a resident of Canada with a verifiable Canadian address, or a Canadian citizen temporarily abroad in a jurisdiction where our services are not restricted.
- You are not a resident of the United States. We do not accept US-based players, and we screen for this via IP, address, and payment-instrument geolocation.
- You are not currently registered on a provincial voluntary self-exclusion programme (Ontario iGO VSE, BCLC VSE, Loto-Québec Auto-Exclusion) with an active status. If you are, you must serve out the exclusion period with the provincial operator before we can approve you here.
- You are not an employee, contractor, director or immediate family member of Spin247 CA Casino, any of our payment processors or any of our game providers.
- You have full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under Canadian law.
We serve Canadian residents in all provinces and territories. If a court order, a provincial regulator or a change to our licensing conditions restricts access from your province at any point, we will notify you by email and refund any real-balance funds to source.
3. Opening an account
Sign-up takes around three minutes and is completed entirely on the Site. You must supply real, current and accurate information — first and last name as they appear on your provincial photo ID, date of birth, residential address, mobile phone number, and a working email address you control. You choose your own password (minimum 10 characters, mixed case, at least one digit).
One Player, one Spin247 Account. We run cross-checks against the ID document number, email address, phone, residential address, device fingerprint and payment instrument at every registration. If we detect a duplicate account, we close both, void any winnings on the duplicate, and return only original deposits to source. If your household contains more than one adult Player, each of you must register separately with your own personal ID, contact details and payment methods — not a shared account.
4. Identity verification (KYC)
Canadian anti-money-laundering rules and our offshore licence both require us to confirm your identity before we release your first withdrawal. We start KYC automatically the moment you request a payout, and we may also trigger it earlier if a deposit crosses C$3,000 in aggregate, if your play pattern flags for review, or if a payment processor flags the transaction.
Documents we ask for:
- A valid government photo ID — Canadian passport, provincial driver's licence, provincial photo ID card, or Permanent Resident (PR) card. Health cards from Ontario, Manitoba and PEI are not accepted because provincial privacy law restricts them for age verification.
- A proof of address issued within the past 90 days — utility invoice (hydro, gas, water, internet), bank statement, provincial vehicle registration, or a CRA notice.
- A selfie holding the same photo ID next to your face, so our KYC vendor can match the document to a live person.
- For crypto deposits above C$3,000: a screenshot of the wallet address transaction on the blockchain explorer, plus proof that the wallet is yours.
Turnaround is typically 24-48 business hours from the moment your full document set is uploaded. If anything is unclear or the images are illegible we will email you from support@spin247-ca.net within that window, so keep an eye on your inbox and your spam folder. We never ask for your Social Insurance Number (SIN) — SIN is not a valid ID document for gambling KYC in Canada, and any message claiming to come from Spin247 and requesting your SIN is a phishing attempt.
5. Funding your account (deposits and withdrawals)
- Currency: Canadian dollars (C$) only. All deposits are shown in C$, wagers settle in C$, and withdrawals leave in C$. We do not offer USD, EUR or GBP wallets.
- Minimum deposit: C$10 (C$20 on some crypto rails because of network fees).
- Minimum withdrawal: C$20.
- Payment methods: Interac e-Transfer (most popular), iDebit, Instadebit, Visa Debit, Mastercard, MuchBetter e-wallet, and select cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT). Not every method is available in every province.
- Deposit speed: Interac and iDebit are instant; card deposits clear inside 5 minutes; crypto lands after network confirmations (typically 15-60 minutes).
- Withdrawal speed: Interac e-Transfer payouts settle in 24-72 business hours including our internal 24-hour review; crypto payouts leave inside 24 hours once approved.
- Closed-loop rule: under FINTRAC anti-money-laundering practice, we return withdrawals to the same instrument you deposited from. An Interac deposit therefore returns via Interac e-Transfer, and a Bitcoin deposit returns to the originating BTC wallet.
- FINTRAC reporting: single or aggregated transactions of C$10,000 or more in a 24-hour period generate an automatic Large Cash Transaction Report / Large Virtual Currency Transaction Report to FINTRAC, independent of any suspicion. This is not a red flag — it is a legal obligation on us and does not affect your withdrawal.
- Third-party payments: the payment instrument must belong to the account holder. Deposits from a spouse's Interac, a friend's card or a corporate account will be reversed and can trigger account suspension.
6. Taxation of winnings in Canada
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) currently treats casual gambling winnings as non-taxable for Canadian residents. There is no line item for casino winnings on the T1 personal tax return, and we do not issue a T5 or T4A slip on your payouts. This is settled tax policy going back decades and applies whether you play in-province, at an offshore casino such as ours, or on a licensed provincial iGO platform.
The exception, rarely triggered, is the professional gambler classification — a person whose gambling activity has the "reasonable expectation of profit" hallmarks of a business (systematic wagering, sustained effort, sole or primary source of income). CRA has historically been reluctant to press this classification, but if your play looks like a business you should consult a chartered accountant. Interest earned on winnings you park in a bank account is taxable in the normal way.
We do not withhold Canadian tax at source on any winnings paid to a Canadian resident. If you play from outside Canada while travelling, the tax rules of your temporary jurisdiction may apply — check locally.
7. Promotional offers
Every Bonus we publish sits under both these Terms and its own promotion page. The core conditions attached to our headline welcome package are:
- Welcome package: 200% match up to C$1,500 plus 150 free spins, spread across your first three deposits.
- Wagering multiplier: 35x the bonus amount (bonus, not deposit + bonus).
- Wagering window: 30 days from the moment the Bonus posts to your Wallet.
- Max bet with a Bonus active: C$5 per spin or C$5 per hand. Bets above this while wagering is running void the Bonus and any winnings tied to it.
- Minimum deposit to trigger: C$20.
- Game contribution to wagering: slots 100%, most video poker 20%, live roulette 20%, live blackjack 10%, live baccarat 10%, sports betting nil.
- Free-spin winnings: credited as bonus balance subject to 35x wagering; capped at C$100 total per free-spin drop.
Reload bonuses, cashback and VIP. Beyond the welcome package we run weekly reload offers, weekend cashback (5-15% on net losses depending on VIP tier), tournament prize drops, and a five-tier VIP programme with personalised limits. Each promotion carries its own wagering and expiry terms visible on the promotion tile before you opt in.
Bonus abuse. We reserve the right to void a Bonus and any winnings from it where we detect: duplicate accounts claiming the same offer; low-risk / hedged betting patterns (opposing outcomes on live tables); Bonus Buy features abused to trigger bonus rounds cheaply; play under a Bonus that later gets reversed by chargeback. We publish a full bonus terms page with worked examples.
8. Behaviour that is not allowed
The following are grounds for immediate account suspension and, in serious cases, forfeiture of the entire balance:
- Holding more than one Spin247 Account, or registering on behalf of another Player.
- Chip dumping or collusion between multiple accounts on any table game.
- Bonus abuse as described in Section 7, including using a VPN to claim a country-specific promotion you are not eligible for.
- Running bots, scripts or automated software against our slots, tables or lobby.
- Supplying false KYC information, forged documents, or ID belonging to another person.
- Using a payment instrument that does not belong to you, or a stolen card.
- Threatening, harassing or abusing our support agents, live dealers or other Players in chat.
- Reverse-engineering the Site, probing for vulnerabilities without a coordinated disclosure agreement, or scraping content at scale.
9. Responsible gambling framework
Every Spin247 Account ships with the same set of controls, whether you are a first-time depositor or a Diamond-tier VIP. You will find them under Account > Responsible Gambling:
- Deposit limits — daily, weekly and monthly caps you set for yourself.
- Loss limits — caps on your net losses over the same three time-frames.
- Wager limits — a ceiling on the size of a single spin or hand.
- Session time limits — the app logs you out once your chosen session duration ends.
- Reality checks — a pop-up every 30, 60 or 120 minutes summarising your net position.
- Cooling-off — a 24-hour, 7-day or 30-day pause on your account.
- Self-exclusion — a 6-month, 1-year, 5-year or permanent block on your Spin247 Account, non-reversible for the chosen period.
Spin247's self-exclusion only covers Spin247. If you need Canada-wide coverage you can enrol in the provincial VSE programme in your home province — Ontario iGO VSE, BCLC VSE, Loto-Québec Auto-Exclusion and equivalents in the other provinces. If you feel gambling is no longer fun, ring ConnexOntario free on 1-866-531-2600 (24/7, bilingual), talk to Responsible Gambling Council of Ontario (RGCO), or visit our full responsible-gambling page for the province-by-province list.
10. Updates to these Terms
Regulatory duties, banking practices, game provider integrations and our own product all move over time, so we revise these Terms periodically. Whenever an update comes into force we email every active Spin247 Account from support@spin247-ca.net and post the change log on this page. Continued play after the effective date of an update counts as your acceptance of the revised Terms. If a change is material — for example a change to the wagering multiplier, or to the closed-loop payment rule — we require you to click "I accept the updated Terms" the next time you log in before we allow further wagers.
11. Applicable law and forum
Spin247 CA Casino operates under an offshore licence, and the primary law governing this agreement is the law of that licensing jurisdiction. That said, we do not use the offshore forum as a shield against legitimate Canadian consumer expectations. Provincial Consumer Protection acts (Ontario CPA 2002, BC BPCPA, Quebec Consumer Protection Act, and the equivalents in other provinces) continue to apply to Canadian Players in the ordinary way for matters within their scope, and we will not contest the jurisdiction of a Canadian court in a genuine consumer dispute concerning a Canadian Player.
Where a dispute is not resolved by our internal complaints team, we invite you to escalate through Alternative Dispute Resolution before any court action — RGCO for player-protection matters, the provincial gambling regulator in your home province for regulated-gambling concerns, or an independent arbitrator under the licensing jurisdiction rules for pure contractual disputes.
12. Complaints and ADR
If something goes wrong, tell us first — we have a strong record of settling issues before they need external escalation. The route is:
- Step 1 — Live chat or email support: support@spin247-ca.net. First response inside one hour, resolution target 48 hours.
- Step 2 — Formal complaint: if support cannot resolve, email legal@spin247-ca.net with "Formal Complaint" in the subject line and your Spin247 Account ID. We acknowledge within 2 business days and issue a written decision within 15 business days.
- Step 3 — External ADR: if the written decision does not resolve the matter, escalate to RGCO or to the gambling regulator in your home province (AGCO iGaming Ontario, BCLC, Loto-Québec, AGLC in Alberta, SLGA in Saskatchewan, and equivalents). For matters purely about our contractual obligations, an independent arbitrator under our offshore licence.
- Step 4 — Privacy complaints only: the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or your provincial privacy commissioner — see our Privacy Notice.
We publish more than one contact channel because different questions belong on different desks:
